Foundational reasoning behind the system.
This section explains the initial reasoning and design philosophy behind Please Please Please.
THE PROBLEM
Independent creators tend to have saturated to-do lists, with many items belonging to favors or pro-bono work. What outsiders might consider "a quick favor" can turn into a time-consuming task when the creator is already juggling multiple projects.
Two main downsides:
1. There is always an uncertainty from the requestor side and a "social debt" from the creator side. 2. These types of tasks occupy mental and energetic buffer that rarely gets compensated.
THE INSIGHT
How can we turn this problem into something that benefits both, the requestor and the creator?
THE APPROACH
Create a simple system that allows friends to "queue up" for favors, creators to accept requests, and gives the requestors a clear schedule and an incentive for compensation through tipping and ticketing tiers.
THE SYSTEM
1. Capture — Capture requests or "tickets" via a simple form that enables tipping 2. Verify — Accept or reject tickets 3. Queue — Add to queue and sort by priority 4. Complete — Track progress and deliver
